Years ago two priests went on a Hawaiian vacation. They wanted to make this vacation a real one by dressing in a way that would not let other people realize they were members of the clergy.
As soon as the plane landed the priests, still wearing their clergy wardrobe, headed for a store. They bought some really outrageous shorts, shirts, sandals, sunglasses, etc.
The next morning they went to the beach dressed in their newly bought “tourist” garb. , While sitting in their beach chairs enjoying drinks, the sunshine, and the scenery, a drop-dead gorgeous blonde in a revealing bathing suit came walking straight towards them.
They couldn’t help but stare at her.
As she passed by them, she smiled and said, “Good morning Father” and “Good morning Father,” nodding to each and addressing them individually.
They were both stunned: how in the world did she recognize them as priests?
The next day they went back to the store and bought even more outrageous outfits. These were so loud, you could hear them before you even saw them. They settled on the beach in their chairs to enjoy their Hawaiian vacation once again.
After a while, the same stunningly beautiful blonde came walking toward them again.
They were glad they had sunglasses because their eyes were about to pop out of their heads.
Once again, she approached them and greeted them with “Good morning Father” and “Good morning Father” to each separately.
Then she started to walk away.
One of the priests couldn’t take being recognized by her and said, “Just a minute young lady. Yes, we are priests, and proud of it, but I have to know, how in the world did YOU know?”
“Oh Father, don’t you recognize me? I’m Sister Beatrice.”
