How Man Deals With Silent Treatment

One night a man slowly enters into a bar looking depressed.

The bartender asks him, “What will it be?”

The guy says, “Oh, just a beer.”

The bartender asks him, “What’s wrong? Why so blue today?”.

The man said “My wife and I got into a fight, and she said she would not talk to me for a month.”

The bartender said, “You can handle that.”

The sad husband sighed, “But the month is up tonight.”

Comedy Club version

How’s everyone doing tonight? So, let me ask you, have you ever walked into a bar feeling like your whole world is crashing down, and all you want is a drink to drown your sorrows?

Let me tell you about this poor soul who walked into a bar looking like he lost a bet with life itself. He slowly comes in, shoulders slouched, and tells the bartender, “Oh, just a beer.”

Now, you know the bartender is more than just a drink dispenser, right? They’re basically part-time therapists, too! So, this bartender sees the guy’s gloomy mood and asks him, “What’s wrong? Why so blue today?”

And that’s when our beaten-down hero tells his tragic tale of a fight with his wife. She hit him with the ultimate punishment – a whole month of the silent treatment! Yeah, you heard it right – silence for a whole month.

Now, the bartender tries to help saying, “You can handle that.” But this guy, he looks like he’s just seen a horror movie where the villain is a vacuum cleaner.

And then he drops the bombshell – tonight is the night when the silent torture ends. The month is up, folks!

Can you imagine the crazy emotions he’s going through? On one hand, he’s like, “Thank goodness, it’s over.”

But on the other hand, he’s probably thinking, “Uh-oh, what’s the first thing she’s gonna say to me after this silence break?”

I mean, the suspense kills him! Will it be a heartfelt “I love you,” or will it be a “Why didn’t you take out the trash last Tuesday?”

That’s the real cliffhanger!

So, folks, let this be a lesson to us all. Marriage can be a rollercoaster ride, and sometimes you end up on the “Silent Treatment Express.”

But remember, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel, even if that light is a month of silence!

Thank you, thank you! You’ve been an amazing audience tonight. Let’s raise our glasses to love, laughter, and the end of the silent treatment.

Cheers, everyone!
